Forum : Why do men do it ?

(A Forum to Help Men Understand Themselves)
Introduction : There have been increasing news reports of violence perpetrated overwhelmingly by male members of society which victimize women as well as other males. What is it about being a man which cause them to be so violence prone ? Traditionally social support services have been given to the victims of violence by women groups. Now with awareness that men are also victims of society’s various expectations and perceptions of what make a man –ranging from their upbringing, sexuality and social-economic roles, there are also men support groups set up for addressing the violence perpetrators directly. This is a forum to help men understand themselves –and is open to both men and women.
